Tuesday Jan 15

We did a couple of things today, then got to work.

We chatted very briefly about Thursday and Friday this week.

We also talked about what the Non-Fiction and CA pieces of writing should look like.

I then turned the students loose and they used class time to work on their CA's.

During this time, I also did one on ones with the students present and showed them updated marks.

Monday Jan 7

Happy 2019!

We started with a discussion of what to expect for this course over the next few weeks. The Culminating Activity dates we picked are Jan 17, 18, 21 and 22. I did try and avoid making my students have more than on CA being due with those dates.

We continued on with our unit on Non-Fiction.

Due dates for the Non-Fiction unit assignments were mnetioned and are on the right hand side of this blog. I finished a few presentations today and have a few more to do tomorrow.

I did hand back all material I had marked and recorded for this class. I'll have updated marks by the end of the week.
